This is a 1979 Mercedes-Benz 300CD non-turbo. This is a Texas car that has been in a barn for most of its life. The only rust is on a rear quarter panel behind the rear wheel from where the rear window seal let water leak in. The vehicle does not have a transmission currently installed. There are 2 core transmissions in the trunk, both in rebuildable condition. Included with the car is a factory transmission rebuild kit, and a factory rebuilt torque converter. The motor runs good with minimal blowby. I bought this for a project last year and have not had time to start on it other than sourcing the transmission rebuild kit and the torque converter.
