Description of 1984 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series

One of my favorite toys is in need of a new home! Here is my all original 1984 Mercedes-Benz 380SL convertible. This has been a fantastic car for my family as we have owned it for the past 6 and a half years. I purchased the vehicle in December 2009 from The Villages in Florida. he car then spent the majority of its time with me as my summer car in Missouri. Since the day I bought it. I have put a little over 3. 00 miles on the car and have enjoyed every moment of it. The car has right at 82. 00 miles on it presently and is riding on Michelin tires with approximately 50. 00 miles left on them. It has a clean title and I am the second owner. The car also has its original keys. including the valet key. There is a small patch of rust in the front right fender of the car. which could be repaired. or for about $500 could be replaced with a new fender. There is no other rust to be found in the car besides that isolated spot. The A/C works. however it is not blowing cold. It is still running on R-12 freon. but included with the car is 6 cans of R-12 freon. While it can be converted. I never bothered since I drove the car with the top down most of the time. The convertible top is in pristine condition. the top was replaced 6 years ago. however the car was in my garage with the top stored down the bulk of the time. The hardtop is removable and is also in excellent condition. Included with the purchase of the car is a ceiling mounted hard top rack. If you have any questions/concerns. feel free to ask them. I really hate to see this car go. but I have too many toys and the Mercedes is on the chopping block. Its a cherished piece that will be missed by the whole family.
