| Up for sale is a nice Mercedes 280SE 4. 5. It was repainted about a year ago in the original Horizon Blue (code 304). The interior is in nice shape with no rips or tears. carpets are in good condition. The wood is very nice. and the dash is not cracked. The car still has the original Becker Radio. installed but is disconnected and a new JVC stereo is mounted in the glove box. It has the more desirable. floor shift. The tires are almost brand new. Yes this car has the legendary 4. 5 liter V-8. Car runs and drives fine. recent work includes; New Timing Chain. New heater levers. rebuilt heater valves. rebuilt power steering pump and hoses. new rear shocks. new windshield seal. All windows and gauges work. door locks work. courstsey lights work. The body is solid and rust free. The car runs and drives and stops well. (I try to drive it to work aleast once a week. 20 miles each way). There are no chips or dents in the paint. With all that be said the car is not perfect but very nice for a unrestored 43 year old car! OK so here go's with some of its short comings. A/c blows but not very cold. cracks in steering wheel. needs door seals. wood missing on drivers side front door rear. does smoke a little on cold startups after sitting a while. clock does not work.
