This is a true classic that you can get in and enjoy right now. This is a 1966 Mercedes-Benz 230SL Roadster. It is in very good condition overall and it runs fantastic.

These cars are highly sought after by collectors and auto enthusiasts. This one isn't quite ready for the show ring but its a very nice driver with great potential. Drive it daily use it as a weekend toy or make it a project for a full restoration - it will serve you well whatever you choose.

The exterior is in very good shape and the paint shines all around. No dents or dings.

The convertible top is in very good shape as well with just 2 small blemishes on the left rear section of the roof.

The soft top cover and well area is in very good condition. Clean no rust.

The interior is also nice. The seats have no rips or tears and aren't showing anywear. The carpets and door panels are also in fine shape. The wood trim at the front of the dash will need work or replacement if you're restoring the car.

The cargo area is also nice and there is a jump seat.

The 2.3 liter I6 is remarkable. Just turn the key and it fires right up and runs great.

It is AMAZING how well this 1966 Mercedes-Benz runs and drives.

The underside of the car is clean and free of any serious rust or rot.

The odometer reads 20796. This car could be driven so mileage may be higher by the time the auction is over.
