The quintessential lead sled: the Mercury defined the full bodied hot rod in the 50's. Its flowing lines were a vast canvas on which customizers could practice what was a fairly new art form back in the late 40's & early 50's. Chopped,channeled,frenched and decked. Thats what you did if you wanted your Mercury to stand out in a show or crowd! And the led sled being offered here does that in spades! Designed to emulate customs made famous by legends like Sam and George Barris, ene Winfield and many others. This rolling piece of art has all of the elements mentioned, n addition to being wrapped in stunning one off custom paint job! Black & white full leather interior & trunk! Many custom features, oo many to list...Complete frame off restoration completed in California & shipped to New York for Rollin Automotive to build the power of the punched out flat head and drop a 650 cfm holley carb on the raised intake and burn the fuel with the billet MSD ignition system. All work done to show quality including powder coated heads & intake, raided hoses, ustom made BeCool aluminum radiator to keep the power running cool. |
