It is an extremely well preserved. 2-Owner car. Living a garage stored and well maintained life has left this car in very good condition. It was repainted many years ago in the factory Lime Gold Metallic. The paint still shines very well and the car presents very much like original paint. The exterior body appears to be free of any obvious rust. The only corrosion we could find was in the lower portion of the outer wheel house just behind the tires. The floors. torque boxes. frame rails. etc are all in excellent condition. The trunk pan still wears its factory overspray on the red oxide primer. this car is impressive. Inside the original factory Black Bucket Seat Interior is equipped with a factory floor shift console. There was some wear on the driver’s seat and driver’s foot well carpet that have been repaired. The interior presents nicely with some wear on the seats and carpet. From the interior the options are everywhere. On the dash you have the Intermittent Wipers. Rear Window Defrost. Air Conditioning Controls. Upgraded AM Radio with fader. 3 Spoke Rim Blow Steering Wheel and more. The bucket seats and floor console are among the most desirable of all Muscle Car options. Under the hood the engine compartment has been freshly detailed. The big block 390 appears much as it did back in ’69. With the rare factory air cleaner. wire holding tabs. vacuum hoses & hardware it is truly impressive it has survived this well. It still fires up nicely and runs well. The 390 has plenty of torque to haul around this Cyclone with ease. The C6 transmission goes into gear and shifts properly. The original Styled Steel Wheels were a very rare option for the Mercurys. These wheels were stripped. the stainless removed & polished. new wheel center caps added the repainted in the original charcoal style paint. New BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires were installed and really look nice. It is harder to find a better looking factory wheel.
