American Muscle Car Recovery proudly presents for your consideration, O RESERVE, his beautiful 1967 Mercury Cougar!
This Cougar has the looks, he stance and most important, he sound that makes heads turn as it passes by. A deep, harp and mean sound resonates from the fast revving 289 A Code engine upgraded with an Edelbrock dual-plane intake and carburetor. Spent gasses are sent out of a set of headers and a dual full-length exhaust system. Power is transferred to the original 8" 2:71 ratio rear end via the original C4 Select-Shift automatic transmission. Stopping power is achieved easily with the factory power drum brakes and taking corners with authority is accomplished with power steering at your finger tips. This Dearborn, ichigan assembled Cougar rolled off the factory floor in June, 967 with factory air conditioning and the upgraded A Code 289 4V engine wearing Code 6 light beige "Fawn" paint and Code 2F Medium Saddle Crinkle Vinyl interior. The interior is original and complete minus the headliner and pillar covers but needs to be restored in the color of your choice.
The frame and body are in good, ccident free condition showing no signs of rust or rot often present on vehicles of this era. This Cougar has spent the last few years in Arizona and prior to that it was in California, o it is truly a dry climate muscle car. The quarter panels, loors, ockers, oors, enders, ood & deck lid are all original and in good condition with very nice gaps and fitment. The sequential turn signals function properly and look stunning operating at night with the enamel jet black paint job with radiant metallic-silver stripes. Nice aluminum Superior rims wrapped in good rubber and the added hood scoop give this 1967 Cougar an aggressive appearance with nice contrast and tones. A nice Sony sound system w/ usb and 3.5mm inputs control a trunk mounted amp and enclosed sub-woofer box sounds great with the additional 6 speaker system installed in the interior.
This is a nice driving car with plenty of power that starts easy and is in very original condition that will only appreciate in time as you enjoy and drive in it's current condition, r take it to the next level and build the cougar of your dreams.
This 1967 Cougarwill ship with a cleanArizona title, ill of sale and set of keys. It is currentlyon non-opwith the D.M.V so there are no back fees due or other issues for the new buyer to deal with.
