You are viewing a very nice and original 1964 Mercury Comet Caliente with it's numbers matching drivetrain with only 45000 original miles. Same female owner from new until 2007, always garage kept and rarely driven. Rare Silver Turquoise mostly original with a few touch ups as to be expected. The body is straight and clean and the paint still looks great! The original black interior looks as though it's never been sat in. Dash pad is perfect (woodgrain decals are available and need replaced), door panels and rugare as new, simulated wood wheel is perfect. Everything appears to function as it should. This Comet came well equipped including: Factory Air, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Automatic and V8. The original 260 V8 runs good and is ready for cruising, the transmission shifts as it should, brakes, steering & suspension all in perfect working order (new ball joints & brakes). The car has a new set of Torq Thrust style 15" wheels and new radial tires, the original wheels and fender skirts are included.The Floors, wheel houses, frame rails, trunk etc. are mint rust free, the floors still show body color when you peel back the factory under coating. All of the rare Caliente chrome trim is excellent with no dings.CALL NOW!
