Description of 1963 Mercury Monterey Breezeway |
| 1963 Mercury Monterey 2 dr. Hardtop. "Breezway" rear window - goes down for ventilation cruising down the turnpike! Decent paint and interior. Could easily be fixed up into a driver or a restoration or hot rod candidate. Has a current registration and Texas plates. Clear Texas title. Can be driven. but I would not recommend to drive home - can't guarantee it would stop or would be safe for a long drive. The original 390 engine has been replaced with a 351 Windsor V8. Runs good. The car is a good solid car. The only rust that I could find was some in the trunk. but not much. and easily fixable. Transmission leaks and needs to have front seal replaced. You don't see these cars very often anymore. It is HUGE and draws alot of looks. Not sure about mileage - probably at least 148. 50. |
