Up for auction is this neat 1957 Mercury Montclair 2 door hardtop. And she is still wearing the same Pink/White two tone paint the car left the factory with. The paint shows some wear, and has patina, but a light polish with a hand wax she polished right up. The body is solid and sheet metal original with no putty anywhere! The floors are solid and clean, the only rust that the car has, is some small surface on trunk floor and small hole on right rear quarter panel. Very easy fix and needs No major panel replacement. The car is very solid and clean! The interior is original but has wear as the photos show. The car has been in storage for some time, reason why in such good condition. The car was put in storage because the engine stop running in hopes of getting it fixed, but was never fixed. The engine is stuck now, but is complete and still full of oil. Probably could be fixe, but don't know what's wrong with the engine other than it don't turn over. The plus side of the car is before the engine stop running, and put into storage. There was a new dual exhaust, brakes, shocks, tires, tune-up, water pump, battery (but is weak now) and rebuilt transmission installed in the car! The car is being Sold As Is and I have the right to end auction early (car for sale local too) winning bidder wires $500.00 deposit within 48 hours of close of auction, and remainder paid in cash at time of pick-up of the car. If you have any questions about the car feel free to ask., like if the car has all its chrome trim and badges, as you can see from the photos, the car is COMPLETE and missing nothing. Even all the glass is in great condition and No breaks.
