Description of 1949 Mercury Other

Hello to all eBayers!

I have been with eBay for several years and I want to keep my reputation here 100% positive. I am a private collector, who has endless passion for classic cars and trucks. Right now, I’m liquidating my collection since I’m selling my warehouse.

Are you an old vehicles connoisseur looking for classic/vintage vehicles without having to pay luxury prices? You are in the right place! I know that magic feeling when the right quality meets the right price, so I sell my vehicles worldwide at the most reasonable prices.

This classic has a NY registration since the State of NY does not issue title on older cars.If you need to get a CA title for this vehicle, I can help you with that for an additional fee.

You’re looking at an awesome 1949 Mercury Coupe with red exterior and black interior. It’s got a 4-inch professionally done chop top. This 2-owner Mercury has been maintained in great condition. I really like Mercury coupes and have a couple of them. This is one great-looking car that the new owner will truly enjoy. It has been tuned-up a few years ago but still looks great. The car is very reliable and you can drive anywhere. The odometer says 50,904 miles on the car, but it has only around 8,000 miles after the restoration. You will love to drive this Mercury and even take it to shows.

The price I offer is very reasonable for the car’s condition. The title is a transferrable NY registration. If needed, I can help you get a CA title for this vehicle for an additional fee.

Mechanical

The car has a 350 Chevy engine, forged pistons, COMP 280 cam, roller rockers, Edelbrock intake, holly carb with a manual choke. The transmission is an automatic turbo 350. It has dual exhaust that sounds great.

Exterior

The exterior of this car is very solid and attractive. All glasses are in great condition. It has shaved doors, pop outs. The Mercury has very presentable paint, chromes, wheels, and tires.

Interior

The interior of the car is neat and clean. It's got nice leather seats and door panels. The carpet is very clean. The dash and the steering wheel are also in very nice condition.

All the lights and the gauges work fine.

Remember, this vehicle is from the1940’s, and even though I’ve tried my best to describe it, it can have some imperfections which I’m not aware of, therefore they’re not in the description.

I’m saying this because I’ve had a bad experience with a ruthless dealer that tried to extort money from me after the car was inspected and delivered!
