Description of 1955 Mercury MONTCLAIR MONTEREY

.
***FOR RESTORATION OR PARTS --- ONE 1957 312 ENGINE --- TWO 292 ENGINES***
.

A friend of mine asked me to list these three 1955 Mercury sedans. He has had them for years and intended to restore one with the parts from the other two. That isn't going to happen so he has decided to sell all as a lot. The blue Montclair Sport Sedan is the best car and the one he wanted to restore. A tree limb fell cracking the windshield. The other two cars both have good windshields. The interior is blue and white. Car came with power windows and power steering. It has a Ford 292 engine and the automatic transmission is in the trunk. This car is in restorable condition as you can see from the photos. The other Montclair is also a Sports Sedan but it is rusty and should be used for parts. The engine is a 1957 Ford 312 with Carter four barrel carburetor. The engine was a rebuilt one bought from Sears. It needs a timing chain. This car also has an automatic transmission. It has an original jack in the trunk. The owner has keys for both these cars. The first one has a Rhode Island (not a title state) registration and bill of sale. The second Montclair has a Delaware title in the owner's name - he used to live there. The third car is inside and is a Monterey sedan. This car has the original 292 V-8 with four barrel carburetor. It has a Virginia title. The owner would like to sell all three as a lot - you are bidding on all you see in the photos below. Email any question and if you'd like to talk to the owner or look at the Mercurys just email for his phone number. None of these cars run and will have to be towed.
