Description of 1950 Mercury Other

This is a project car I purchased awhile back and I intended to build and keep. Too many projects. this one needs to go. It is still exactly the way I bought it. Most of the body was sandblasted and primed. so nothing is hiding under paint and filler. The frame and undercarriage are original and in great shape. especially for a 65 year old car. Front floors are good but the trunk floor will need replacing. The good part is that many panels and parts are available. All glass is still good except for right hand quarter window. I do have the REAR WINDOW. The engine is a Ford 460 4V and the trans is an automatic C6. The engine was completely rebuilt and has not even been fired yet. If you are interested in this car without the drivetrain. I will knock $1. 00. 00 of the selling price. The engine and transmission are not mounted in the frame. It is just resting in place close to where it needs to be mounted. The firewall has been trimmed for clearance. I would say other modifications will need to be done for header clearance and the driveshaft will need to be modified. Included parts are. headlight buckets. skirts. rocker panel. upper radiator support. trans tunnel cover. bumper brackets. rear window. motor mounts. headers. driveshaft and some assorted small parts. These Mercs are getting harder to find. so if you want a Merc don't pass this one up. I will supply a bill of sale as NY did not have titles until 1973. No warrantee.
