1973 cougar xr7 custom convertible.Vehicle is in excellent condition and will drive coast to coast as is. Many $ spent on this car which includes 20" Foose chrome wheels at a cost of $3400 plus as new Nankano tires(255/35z/20 on fronts and 275/35z/20) on the rears.These were $1000 for the four.I just had all the brake parts changed including all calipers and drums as well as a new master cylinder as well as the wheel cylinders. The interior is all custom(see pictures) and in great shape. All four power windows work as they should(left rear quarter needs adjustment). The beautiful plum crazy color with silver accents really stands out and if you do not like attention this is not the car for you. The power top works as it should and is in excellent condition(white in color). This car stands out in a crowd and is a great driver. The heater core needs to be changed but in California it just isn't necessary. There are no issues with the stock 351 Cleveland motor and no smoking of any kind. Just get in and drive. I had they front end redone just 2 weeks ago with new ball joints,control arms,idler arm,pitman arm with a correct alignment. Had the u-joints changed mat the same time. The exhaust is custom as you can see and the chrome tips you can also see are resonated for a great sound. All in all a nice custom ride! The dash is flawless.Power steering and brakes work as they should I have decided to downsize my toys as I am in my mid seventies and 15 cars were just to much to contend with.
