| today you are viewing a very rare 1973 mercury cougar xr7 factory Q code cobra jet with auto trans this is a very solid California car that's ready for a easy restoration I drove this car 40 miles home runs and shifts great high option car tilt wheel pwr windows ac pwr seat pwr top disc brakes the car is very solid floors and torq boxes frame rails still have paint on them and front aprons are very nice also trunk floor does have some rust typical convertible issue but not horrible the original seats will need redone (split seams) the top works perfect has dual exhaust (1 muffler has bad baffle)but not loud has new gas tank new rear air shocks reasearch this car and there are very few cj convertibles made this year needs a new top has 2 boot covers one covers the whole back seat but is shrunk up but could be duplicated all in all this a car you can drive and restore at the same time quarters doors and fenders are very nice see pics the car is sold as is deposits are none refundable so check with your better half first any questions call bob at 248-761-2805 |
