Up for sale is my 1988 Mercury Cougar LS. It was sold at Community Motor Company in Canonsburg PA when it was new, with a sticker price of $16,069. I still have the original window sticker, laminated, along with the original dealer checklist signed by the original owner. This Cougar comes with some detailed maintenance history going back many years. It has never been smoked in. The odometer currently reads 87,700 and is original. It will go up slightly seeing it is my daily driver. However, I need to downsize the collection yet again due to construction going on at my residence. Those familiar with my collection know I have owned some very rare, odd, and collectable vehicles over the years and have sold cars all across the US and overseas to a variety of clients and tv shows. - Original owner's manual and related literature This Cougar comes with a CLEAN PA TITLE. Everything stated above is to the best of my knowledge. During my time with the car I have had zero issues. Currently registered as an Antique vehicle, but can be re-registered with a regular plate as well. I have driven this car many times to and from Ohio on the turnpike with no issues, all while getting 30+ mpgs. More pictures can be taken upon request, and the vehicle can be inspected/ looked over by any potential buyer or third party inspector. The car is located in Allison Park, PA right off the PA Turnpike exit 39. I am selling the 1988 Cougar AS-IS, with no warranty stated or implied. The vehicle is 31 years old, however, it operates exactly as it should and I wouldn't be afraid to drive it anywhere. It will have normal signs of age and wear, afterall, it is a used 31 year old car. So please look at the pictures, what you see is what you get. I will also work with you if you need the car shipped, but the cost is on the buyer. After full payment is made, vehicle will need to be removed from my property within 10 days, or on the 11th day forward, a $25 per day storage fee will be charged. I only do this since I have had buyers pay for vehicles I've sold them, and then 5 weeks later they finally come collect their car when they 'feel' like it. I will work with the buyer, but at the same time I appreciate the vehicle being picked up in a timely manner so I do not have to charge a storage fee.
