Description of 1963 Mercury Meteor

Mercury Meteor Gasser 2 Door Sedan. Rat rod gasser. Body was stripped of all paint and filler then treated with a copper solution to give an incredible "old penny" patina. Car has been frame connected and has rear custom ladder bars. Front is a Speedway straight axle and disc brakes. New brakes all around including new plumbing and master. New shocks on all four corners. New electrical throughout. Motor is a 69 350 truck block with 327 internals and early 283 heads. Fresh rebuild with less than 500 miles on it. New avs carb on an early Edelbrock open plane intake. Big overlap cam makes her sound and go great. Power glide trans and stock 8" rear end. New rad. Custom fender well headers and new full exhaust. New front and rear factory tinted green glass. Brand new interior with rear seat delete. Fully street legal and insured and driven regularly. Super fun gasser that gets a lot of attention. Will consider trades for a pre 1976 Corvette only. $16000 USD
