NEW UPDATED INFO AT BOTTOM OF LIST 7-13-15 Stored for 17 years Some rust on rocker panels 1974 bumpers 500 miles on tires Original interior in decent condition New fuel pump, tarter, gnition, nd water pump All gauges work Runs and drives Local pick up only Serious buyers only Please contact me with further questions, f something in my listing doesn't look right, lease contact me so I can verify 100% accuracy I am not the original owner, ut am selling it for a friend's dad, nd he is available for specific questions, lease contact me for more info Car is also for sale locally, o listing can end at any time If you would like to view the car before placing an offer, ontact me to set up a meeting, ip code 46766, o you have an idea where it is located Vehicle is sold as-is, here-is, o warranty is implied -The drivers side has rust on the lower rocker panels-The engine idles at the correct rpm - Their is no blow by coming from the engine - the compression was at the correct compression and all within a two lbs - the clutch is good and strong - The engine starts and runs well except the oil pressure is between 20-50 psi. - Transmission shifts great and fluid was changed before we drove it on the street - The engine and engine compartment has the chrome package and has not been cleaned or painted. We replaced all gaskets in motor except head gasket - over $2400,00 was spent on parts from the gas tank to new tires, ater pump, tarter, lectronic ignition, lutch master cylinder, rake master cylinder, ll hoses, attery, gnition wires, park plugs. I have taken several short trips 30-40 miles, nd always made it home. The worst thing about the car is the paint. It has been painted at least three times over its life, nd I am not a body and fender man so I didn't attempt to hide the rust under trim on the rocker and wanted it to represent what it really is. I hope who ever purchases it, ill finish it and give it a great home!-It is a 1970 MGBGT according to Serial number and the DMV. |
