Description of 1974 MG MGB

One of the last chrome bumper MGB's imported into the US. Award winner. Car is 4 speed with overdrive. Has headers and Weber carb but comes with original SU carbs if you are into originality. I thought I would be until I bought it in 2007 and drove it 600 miles home. The Weber ran so well (and still does) that I left the SU's in the box for a future owner who cares more about originality than performance. I have put 2400 miles on it since then, ever in the rain, nd only to car shows and cruise-ins.

The car has always been garage kept by the previous owner and me. I don't know about before that, ut based on the lack of rust and perfect paint I think it must have been. The color is Tundra Green, ot BRG and is a rare color. The car show awards are three 3rd places, ne second place, nd one Peoples Choice award. If you want a show stopper you would have to detail the engine compartment and re-install the SU's.

The car runs great with no issues whatsoever. The only thing that doesn't work correctly is the horn button. The horns work but a new wire needs to be run down the steering column. The way it is now the horns blow if you make a real sharp turn so the horns are currently disconnected.

There is a brown top boot, black top boot, bonnet bra, nd a jack bag ( shown in boot photo). The picnic basket shown is also included.

Please revue my feedback for other cars I have sold. It speaks for itself.

Alabama does not issue titles for cars of this vintage so the car will be sold on a bill of sale and registration. I do have the title that was issued to me when I lived in Florida and will include that as well.

The only forms of payment that will be accepted are cash and bank wire transfer. A $500 deposit via Paypal is required within 48 hours of auction close.
