VIN# TD216053

THIS IS A STUNNING 1952 MG TD WITH ORIGINAL MATCHING NUMBERS 1250CC, nbsp;4 CYLINDER ENGINE WITH TWIN CARBS. THE CONCOURS QUALITY RESTORATION ON THIS CAR IS COMPREHENSIVE AND EXCEPTIONALLY DETAIL ORIENTED. WITH EXTREMELY WELL FITTING BODY PANELS, HE BEAUTIFULLY APPLIED PAINT IS LIKE A SHEET OF GLASS. UNFORTUNATELY, T WAS VERY CLOUDY AND OVERCAST WHEN I TOOK THESE PICTURES SO THE PAINT DOES NOT COME OFF WELL, UT I CAN ASSURE YOU THAT THE PAINT IS HIGHLY GLOSSY AND VIBRANT ON THIS CAR. I WILL TRY TO POST BETTER PICTURES SOON. THE INTERIOR IS DONE IN GENUINE TAN LEATHER HIGHLIGHTED BY THE VINTAGE JAEGER GAUGES AND CARPETS. THE TAN VINYL TOP AND SIDE CURTAINS ARE NEW (SEE PICTURES). THE CHROME TRIM IS LIKE NEW WITH EXCELLENT PLATING. THE CHROME GRILLE SHELL IS ORIGINAL AND RECHROMED.THIS CLASSIC POST WAR BRITISH SPORTS CAR GETS MORE APPLAUSE AND ADMIRATION THAN ANY OTHER CAR. THE STRIKING COLOR IS AWESOME AND MAKES THE AUTOMOBILE ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL AND ONE-OF-A-KIND.

NOT ONE DETAIL WAS MISSED ON THIS IMPECCABLE RESTORATION JOB INCLUDING THE INTERIOR GAUGE TRIM AND CHROME WHEEL TRIM THAT MATCHES THIS UNIQUE COLOR.

This gorgeous MGTD was originally a very low miles Arizona car which was totally rust free and clean. It has recently undergone a 3-year, 40,000+, o expense spared, rame off and "nuts and bolts"professional restoration.

Each and every component of the automobile was either professionally rebuilt and or replaced with new.

The original engine and transmission did not require a rebuild since they were in excellent original condition, owever they were carefully and professionally inspected and serviced before reinstalling.

The body was rust free to begin with but taken down to bare metal and painted professionally with 4 coats of paint to give a flawless, how quality, irror like finish. Special attention has been paid towards the finer details whereby each and every component, nside and outside of the car, as been matched to the color change.

The wood frame inside the body was replaced with an entire new set purchased from Moss Motors. The one thing that stands to dry rot in the dry climate of Arizona is the wood.

The interior is genuine leather and the seats and panels are impeccably upholstered to the highest standard.

The dash is made from a special book matched Italian Carpathian Elm wood which is hand waxed and is absolutely beautiful.

All the gauges are original.

The chrome is mostly original metal re chromed to perfection. Every chrome trim piece is perfect.

The MGTD has barely 50 miles since the restoration was completed six months ago. It has been kept in an air conditioned garage in Phoenix ever since.

I have tried to include as many detailed pictures of the inside and outside of this stunning vehicle. I have even tried to photograph the bottom of the car to showcase the impeccable restoration job, owever I did not have it lifted at the time so it was a bit difficult to get good angles on it. Rest assured the under carriage is as pristine as the rest of the car. You can feel free to ask any questions you may have and I will do my best to answer them all.

Good luck bidding. I have published this as a no-reserve auction. Buyer must arrange and pay for any shipping / pickup. Local pickup of this vehicle only. If you need some assistance with finding a good transport company, would be happy to help.
