Many consider this the best styled roadster that MG produced. It is quite a romantic car with its cozy cockpit. Drop the top and cruise around the lake. country club. and neighborhood in classic panache. This car was the recipient of a full frame-off restoration in the early 2000s. We have a binder of photos showing the restoration process. Everything was gone through including all powertrain components. suspension. frame. interior. EVERYTHING! Everything on the car works as it should including all electronic components. etc. As the restoration is approximatley 12-13 years old it still shows extremely well. Beautiful and elegant Old English White paint looks incredible. The only noted flaw is some pitting on the front bumper chrome that would need to be rechromed to fix as well as some surface scratching on the front grille. On the classic car scale this car is easily a strong 2+ or 1-. The top is in beautiful condition and goes up and down flawlessly. The car is missing the side curtains but they are available through MG parts suppliers. The 4 cylinder starts up without any drama and the car shifts in to gear nicely. Great clutch feel and surprisingly light steering make the driving experience comfortable and enjoyable. This car also comes with an MG Owners Handbook. Workshop Manual. and MG tool kit. This MGA is an excellent entry into the world of classic car ownership!
