Recently, his MGB was given a very Thorough reconditioning to make sure it is ready for many years with its next owner. Starting with a Rust free shell, he car was stripped down with all trim removed and treated to a full respray in its original Blue Royale, very rare color. All chrome and brightwork was either replated, eplaced or polished and refitted. A classic MGB grill was fitted at this time also and eared knock offs, hich while not strictly original, re features of the cars from the 1960s and fit the Classic look of this car better.
The interior was fully redone with new carpets, anels, nd custom Leather seats using the 1960's pattern down to the off white piping and roll and pleat. At this time, classic Moto Lita wood steering wheel was fitted and wood shift knob to dress up the interior. Also a new Robbins top was installed.
The mechanicals were not forgotten either. The suspension was rebult with new uerethane bushings, ll new brake hydraulics includiting master cylinders, heel cylinders hoses and calipers. New clutch hydraulics were installed as well. The wheels were replaced along with new hubs, nock-offs and the car was fitted with new tires and tubes. In the engine bay, he low mileage engine was checked, ound to be in excellent condition, o was just regasketed and fitted with all new externals including rebuilt carbs, ll new ignition parts, elt, oses, ounts etc.
This car runs, rives, nd looks amazing. I am not sure you could find a better and more tasteful MGB. It combines all the later updates that made the car so much better to drive, uch as All Syncro Overdrive gearbox, ace level ventilation, ore comfortable seats, etter top, ut with all the look of the more Classic MGB and its 1960's good looks.
