This car has been mine since 1981! But it deserves a new caretaker for the next generation...Approx. 61,006 miles (odometer broke at 49,006 in 1982) Engine rebuilt in 1981 (~12,000 miles since) Runs in place, but needs carburetor vacuum work to reach normal driving RPMs (translation: bring a trailer) Fuel tank stripped/sealed in 2001 New top and MG badged floor matsOriginal tonneau cover New 12V battery in November 2015 (back in the 6V battery well) Garaged since 1993 Weber 45DCOE Carburetor (single) Approx. 100 miles on 4 tires! Polar White, Black Trim -- needs some love and new paint Comes with 2 shop manuals and assorted parts catalogs I drove it once from Oklahoma to New Mexico in 1986, and it was my daily driver in between other cars in 2001. A classic English motorcar, ripe for gentle restoration! |
