Description of 1952 MG T-Series

Up for grabs is my Replica MG-TD. Yes. it has a VW engine but it is NOT built on a VW chassis. (which is the reason I originally bought it) The car has a hand built tubular frame and a full pan. Unlike other MG replicas a guy over 6" can easily fit in this car without any problem. Originally supplied by London Roadsters. the frame has a MG rack and pinion steering assembly. custom upper and lower control arms and a boxed in front and rear frame sections to support the front and rear end components as well as the coil over shocks. This car handles like a go kart (but doesnt ride like one) and without a doubt will outhandle (and outrun) and standard TD out there. She has a 1600cc dual port motor. baja close ratio transmission. AM/FM/CD and even has heat and defroster. The body is rock solid like the rest of the car. Interior is spotless and even the side curtains are there (not that I have ever driven her in the rain) She has less than 2000 miles since completion and is in excellent condition front to back. Real wire wheels top everything off and its about as close as your going to get to a real one without spending a bundle of money! Everything works as it should and she needs nothing except a new owner. Most importantly. she is dependable and I would not be afraid to drive her anywhere. A fun car to drive and lots of smiles and thumbs up's! The only issue is a small crack in the windshield about an inch long. It does not interfere with your vision nor is it any kind of a safety issue. On Jan-18-15 at 09:17:12 PST. seller added the following information:Added pictures of whats under the "hood" Has a 8 gallon fuel cell. electric fuel pump and you can see the rack and pinion setup. All gauges (including the fuel) work perfectly. All of this is covered by the carpeted panels you can see in the other pictures. Also shown is the hood latches. horn and signal lights. All done - ready to drive and enjoy! There is one other issue - although it is a 8 gallon tank. you shouldnt run her that lower than 6 gallons or less than 1/4 tank. She doesnt run out of gas - just lets you know your in need! lol
