Description of 1969 MG MGB --

1969 MGB Convertible! Great looking project vehicle. It is all complete and ready for a new home. It has sat (indoors since 2005 with the occasional cranking and driving around the block in between that time). It will now need a full tune up (brakes, clutch service, fluid change etc...) all the typical things needed for a classic vehicle that has sat. It was running when parked and was a daily driver for a young lady while she attended high school (her father purchased it for her and did a minor restoration on it prior to that.) After she graduated it was rarely driven and she parked it indoors. The last time it was on the road was in 2005. Since I've owned it I have not attempted to crank it (as I usually collect other types of vehicles & haven't had the time to play with this one). So it is currently not running at this time and will need to be towed to its new home.I'm sure with a new battery and fresh gas it would crank. The engine compartment looks clean. Overall typical rust that these cars get (I do know it will need a drivers side floor pan). Good solid frame and no major issues with this car. The convertible top looks great on it and it has the boot cover in the trunk for it. No rips in the top and it does not appear to have any leaks. It has all 4 original spoke wheels and one spare in the trunk. This MG will make a great car! Its getting hard to find a 69' like this anymore and they are going up and up in value. Now is a good time to grab one while they are still affordable. Clear NC title in hand. If you have any further questions just ask!
Pickup and Shipping is the responsibility of the winning bidder but I can help with pickup and loading of the vehicle as needed. I do have a shipper I can recommend to the winning bidder. After full payment is received I am able to store the vehicle for you until pick up can be arranged if needed.
