Description of 1964 MG Midget

Very nice survivor car, 1964 MG Midget MK 1 (1098cc engine). Repaint from Signal Red to Bright Red sometime in the past. Very presentable as is. Paint has been touched up to maintain original patina. Mechanics have been freshened or restored: new brakes, new starter, new generator, new distributor, new rear springs, restored radiator, flushed and sealed gas tank. New fuel pump being installed this week, hood latch repair this week, missing cockpit trim added this week, driver side cowl trim piece being installed this week. MG logo and patent plates ordered for valve cover. Original steering wheel and horn push need restoration or replacement. New original style horns included, vintage aviation seat belts included. Good original floors, carpets, upholstery. Side screens, AMCO accessory wind wings. Have two piece top (hood) bows, but needsvinyl top, boot or tonneau. Good black tires mounted on sexy optional 13 inch wire wheels.Receipts on all repairs. Extra collectibles: Car and Driver '61 introduction issue of MG Midget, watercolor racing painting (given as award), MG trophy mug, Washington DC MG Club Concours wooden plaque.Strong, reliable, fun.
