Description of 1964 MG MGB

MG and their iconic and highly recognizable cars are a joy to drive, admire and tinker with. These English vehicles have a very strong following and the style is unlike anything else on the roads. Produced for over 20years the brand continues to harness new collectors and admirers each year.
Proud to offer this very well sorted and fun driving MG B roadster that has been very well cared for its entire life and has only have two previous owners since new. The 2nd owner purchased from original owner out of Washington DC in 1996, just prior to the restoration being completed by Dale Moore, of Dale Moore MG's out of DC, well known in the MG community. The previous owner drove it down to North Carolina in 2010, after having moved there, and owned the car for all 23 years since 96'. Vehicle retains its restoration very nicely with a fresh interior of carpet kit, new upholstered seats with blue trim, all new dash and instruments and restored leather wrapped steering wheel. The paint job was sanded and taken down to the bare metal the Iris Blue and is very attractive and at time of restoration was performed very professionally. Over the years the car has accumulated a few stone pecks and wear on the paint but still very presentable. Vehicle also had a new top fitted that is easily removable and shows well. Lap belts were also installed at the time and comes with jack and spare tire.
Engine is very tidy and fires up quickly with a turn of the key. The dual carbs are nicely tuned and has a great exhaust note that begs you to throttle it further each time. New engine hood insulation was added along with several new hoses and fittings. The chrome presents itself well and a huge standout from the later years of rubber bumpers and moldings.
