This 1980 MG MGB is a one of a kind. It began its original restoration almost 10 years ago. At that time, the car was entirely stripped, repainted, and had a full engine rebuild. About a year ago (after years of driving with overheating issues) I decided to do a full engine swap. This car is 100% rust free and runs and drives like a dream. In keeping the original MG theme, it is almost entirely stock except for the engine, trans, and drivetrain. The list of parts that went into the conversion is well documented but too long to list so I included a picture of the big items. Only thing missing is the exhaust which is a flow master outlaw Cat-back extreme exhaust system and Thermo-tec floor lining under carpet. This car had $20k plus invested in the original restoration as well as 1000s of labor hours. The original restoration was partially completed by my dad with the rest being done by an MG Club In Kansas City. There are a few small items that need to be addressed (documented in the invoice picture) but are driver preference. Car does come with a color matched hood but it’ll need to be cut.
