Description of 1952 MG T-Series

READ ALL OF THIS. Accepted payment is strictly down payment with paypal and cash in hand. This car is a replica of the 1952 MGTD; also known as a kit car. The frame is fiberglass with a Volkswagen frame and engine. The Title is labeled as a 1986 Make:ASPT Vehicle Body: Roadster. The car runs good; but it needs a larger fuel pump which I have; but have not put on the car. The fuel pump is originally a gravity fed pump; but I have rerun the oil lines to allow it to use a traditional/normal fuel pump. The speedometer does not work, the tachometer does work. The air condition and heat do not work. There has been a switch added to the battery to keep the battery from draining (something is constantly drawing power from the battery) this switch fixes this as long as it is lifted when the car is parked for a long period of time. The horn does not work. The title is clean with the vehicle. Less than a year ago I put $1,200 into the vehicle and let a mechanic that specializes in Volkswagons fix everything he found wrong with the car. I have the receipt of these repairs I can present to the buyer. If you are interested in the repairs please ask. The cloth top needs some repair; there are some small rips in the top (nothing serious but if not repaired it will worsen). There are a few buttons missing on the car (these are used to place the windows and top on). The interior in the car is in pretty good condition but it could use some minor repair to reach perfection. The windshield wipers do not work. There is some minor scratches and wear to the paint on the car. If I rated the paint on a scale to 1 to 10; i would scale it as a 7. There is a little rust on the bumper as well (seen in photo 3). The catches on the back of the car that houses the engine are missing. Someone accidentally laid the weight of the trunk onto the bumper and bent it just a little bit (not noticable but if you look for it you can see it in the photos). I have a wooden stand that I use to lay the hood on now and I will give that to the buyer. There is no way to know the true mileage on the car due to it being a kit car and the engine coming from a Volkswagen. You will want to use non ethanol gas with this car. Condition is Used.
