Description of 1972 MG MGB 1972 MGB ROADSTER. 74,515 MILES.

Offered for sale, from KURT TANNER MOTORCARS, is this very nice MGB Roadster. This car was just purchased from it's owner/restorer in Missouri who used and maintained it regularly. As a result, this MGB is very well sorted out and drives beautifully. It's in lovely overall condition cosmetically and is tremendous fun out on the road.The bodywork on this car is quite good. Panel gapping is excellent and per factory with nice opening and closing doors, hood, and trunk lid. There is some very slight bubbling down low on the rear dogleg and rockers panels, most likely from some previous repairs, but is of minor concern. Paintwork all around is very good to excellent. Chromework is excellent and is a mixture of new items and great original pieces. A new tinted windshield has been fitted. The car's undercarriage looks very solid with no rust, good floors and inner rockers, correctly undercoated.The car's interior shares the same story here. It's in very, very nice overall condition including newer door panels and an excellent dashboard. A dash cap replacement has been installed. Carpets are newer in black cut pile. Seats are extremely comfortable and supportive, and have been trimmed in attractive beige leather hide. The armrest and center console are excellent. The car still retains it's original BMC AM radio with the addition of an Audiovox FM unit.The upgraded black cloth soft top fits the car well. Also supplied is the car's original and excellent Everflex top boot and matching tonneau cover, a great addition to the weather equipment. The trunk compartment is fitted with an upgraded carpet kit and insulation. It still retains it's factory jack and handle in bag, spare factory rim.Mechanically, the car is really excellent. The drivetrain looks and feels like a very well maintained 74k-mile car that perform exactly like it should. The engine revs well with no fuss. Oil pressure is excellent with no smoke or noises. The gearbox is precise in it's operation. The front suspension on the car has been completely rebuilt with upgraded teflon bushes. The rear suspension received new spring with a telescopic shock conversion. The braking system looks rebuilt, and the cltuch bites well. The car drives safe and tight and is very fun rolling along on it's smooth and grippy alloy wheel/tire set. The car's exhaust system is is fine health and the engine sounds great. It's in lovely condition, on-the-button, ready to enjoy, and is looking forward to providing tons of fun for it's next caretaker.
