| For sale is my original. unrestored. nbsp;left hand drive (LHD) 1978 Austin Mini 1000 SDL. Car is overall great driver quality car with potential to become much more. It does have little things to fix here and there. but can be used as is without any problem. Car comes exactly as can be seen on the pictures including 12 inch Minilite wheels. Mechanical:engine is original 998cc mated to an original 4 speed manual gearboxcar runs perfectly. starts right up every time. does not smoke or anything like that and drives pretty well too. odometer shows 82827 kilometers. which translates roughly to 51500 milestachometer does not workBodywork:car was never restored. therefore it does have some dings here and there. nbsp;no rust/rustbubbles etcwas never welded on. undercoating is completely original. nothing is rustedthrough. no ugly patches or similarthe only thing that really could use some attention is roof. which has light hail damage (can't be visible on pictures). maybe I should put British flag sticker over it?Paintwork:not a perfect paintjob. but very usable as is. mostly is still factory paintrear tailgate has some imperfections. see picturesright quarter panel has couple of spots repaired with touch-up paint (can be seen on pictures if you look really closely)Interior:it is pretty goodfront seats do have couple of marks in them. see picturescould use some cleaning. from usage over the yearsheadlinier is gooddoes have a working stereoshiftknob is not originalShipping:I will do everything I can to assist you regarding shipping.
