Willing to assist with shipping. email for further information. 1990 Mitsubishi Montero originally from Arizona. made it's home in Florida for the past few years. Never seen salt. very clean inside and out. Under carriage. frame and body shows absolutely no rust. Excellent overall condition. Engine is seized. cannot turn over or start - does not run. will need to be towed. Driver window has issues. and will need some attention. I am unsure what is wrong with the engine other than it needs a new one. The windshield has a big crack in it. New tires have approximately 10. 00 miles on them. This vehicle comes with quite the story. The gentleman I purchased it from had it for many. many years. He claims it saved him and helped his family get to where they truly needed to be. Here is his story:Years ago. he lived in Arizona with his immediate and extended family. Things were not going very well. but with family - a man has all he needs. right? Not entirely. His brother's health was starting to go downhill and life was getting very tough for him. Then he found this Montero. He purchased it from a car sales man who kept emphasizing "You need this vehicle" and he didn't understand exactly what that meant until later. Looking back. he feels it was God speaking through this gentleman. warning him that this vehicle will be his savior. He purchased the Montero and drove it back and forth to work. After a couple months. his work offered him a new job. but it was in Florida. He was unsure if he should take the transfer. it would mean leaving his extended family. his brother. and venturing off to where he knows no one. He prayed to God that evening and hoped for an answer. That night. he said God came to him in his dream and told him he had to take the position in Florida. That. in the following week. signs would appear to him. to show him where his family belongs. He awoke the next morning with a sense of security and faith. That week. as his dream foretold. he had plenty of signs that reassured him that moving to Florida is where he needed to be. During that week. one dark evening. he was traveling in this Montero on a desolate highway in Arizona and the Montero broke down. It did not try to even start again. it sat there completely dead with no signs of life. He looked around and saw no vehicle. no lights. no signs of another human for miles. He tried to call his wife but he had no phone reception. Then. out of nowhere. someone appeared at his car door and stated that it is not safe here for him. The gentleman told him that he needed to leave this area quickly and offered to push the car with him to a nearby cemetery. Once the car was safely in the cemetery. the gentleman said "No one else will help you here in Arizona. you need to leave. " Just then. he checked his phone and he had reception. he looked up to thank the guy who helped him push his vehicle and the guy was gone. completely vanished. He called his wife and heard some terrible news. The last string that was tying him to Arizona. his brother. had just passed away that hour. Looking back. he feels this was God's way of sending his brother to him. to help him and show him a sign. Later in the week. his wife was leaving their house with their 5 grandchildren. She left the driveway in the Montero and went to get new tires installed on the Montero. When she returned. their house was broken into and trashed. thankfully not much stolen. Their picture of Jesus laid in the doorway that normally hung in the kitchen. A day later. the thieves were arrested after breaking into another house at gun point. Looking back. he felt this was another sign that kept his family safe and warned him that Arizona is not where he belonged. The Montero helped save his family from robbers. God placed their picture of his son Jesus in their doorway to emphasize the sign and state that God's son died for our sins. He feels that if the Montero did not take his family to safety. his family could have died. There were other signs that told him he was making the right decision and he decided it was time to leave. He packed up what he had left into a UHaul trailer. hooked it onto his Montero. and him and his family drove away to Florida. The Montero made it safely to Florida where he moved his family into a lovely gated community. He has been in Florida for a couple of years now and he feels that during the time he owned it. it saved his life and his families many times. As he told me the story. his wife was tearing up and kept saying she didn't want to sell it. He stated that the Montero made a huge impact on his life and it has done it's deed. It is time to shed some grace and light on the next owner and may God bless them as he did to his family. He stated that him. his wife and his grandchildren will terribly miss this truck. and hopes it will be revived and cherished again. Once fixed. this Montero will be a terrific vehicle. It is ready to continue its story with the luckiest buyer.
