Description of 1989 Mitsubishi Other

This is a 1989 Mitsubishi Pajero, AKA Dodge Raider. It's titled as a Dodge, but badged as a Mitsubishi. Unfortunately is is NOT RUNNING. BUT, it has new just about everything! I am the previous owner, listing this for my Nephew - the current owner.
I had purchased this vehicle in LA (from an eBay listing) about a year and a half ago. I was going to use it as our tow vehicle for our 36' RV, so I did more things to this vehicle than one normally would (see attached receipts - I ran out of room - 24 pics max, but I can send them to you). The engine had a lifter ticking immediately on startup, but went away as the engine warmed up. Not taking any chances and the fact that it had 160,000 miles, I decided to have the engine rebuilt. Which it was for over $3,700. That was less than 1,000 miles ago!!
I sold it to my Nephew who drove it from Sand Diego to Corvallis, Oregon with no problem. He then drove it to Portland to catch a flight and as he was driving it back home, the engine seized. The shop he had it towed to said there was no oil in the engine (!!). The engine had a one year warranty, but without oil in it, they obviously would not honor the warranty - and I can't blame them.
Anyway, I told my Nephew that I would list the Pajero for him as I know much more about the vehicle than he would. I put way, way, way more money into it than I normally would have, and then my wife really wanted a brand new Jeep Wrangler, so I thought it was a perfect deal - sell him the Pajero, buy my wife the new Jeep. Only one side of that story worked out.
Anyway, here's what I had done to the vehicle after I purchased it:
New paint from Maaco. Not the best, but it's Maaco. A few nicks and scratches, but it looks really good. Much better than the original paint that was on it! But it's not a $7-10,000 paint job.
New tires all around. Again, they do not have 1,500 miles on them - the spare has zero.
Brush guard was on it, but I installed a new winch (Smittybuilt 9,000 pound- works great, though never used it). Has a removable remote cable that is included.
Has a number of LED outside lights - installed by I never had them wired up.
New battery with new battery hold downs.
New Clutch/Pressure Plate/Throw out bearing.
New starter. I believe the only thing I did NOT replace that "turns" is the alternator as the previous owner told me he put a new one in.
All new hoses, water pump, fuel pump, oil pump, filters, belts, fuel injectors (all 6), the brakes and shocks were replaced recently before I purchased it, so I didn't touch them. CB radio and antenna, new stereo - with a Sirius/XM radio module. I have a back up camera for it, but not installed. New carpets. Upholstery (front and rear seats as well as the doors) was recently redone by previous owner. There is one small tear in the headliner, but it wasn't bad enough for me to put in a new one.
New leather steering wheel cover, new custom embroidered floor mats (4 x 4 Pajero I think - I'll have my Nephew take a pic of them).
New windshield (had a small crack) and windshield gasket.
New spare tire cover.
New wipers front and rear. New top rack (that has some scratches on it - it flew off after one of the brackets broke while I was coming home on the freeway, so there are some scuffs and scratches on it!! I put new indestructible brackets that mount to the rain gutter - it will never come off again, unless someone wants to take it off!). New side steps, rear receiver hitch step with brake light,
So the engine? Not sure, I'm in San Diego and cannot make the trip to check it out. If it lost all of it's oil, it's a bit of a mystery as there was no oil on the ground and it did not smoke at all. Anyway, the heads had been resurfaced and new valves and lifters were installed. All new pistons, rings, bearings etc were installed, but likely trashed. The heads would likely be salvageable after a good inspection, but no guarantee. I would THINK a short block would be all that was needed. But buyer beware and we're not making ANY guarantees here.
One very cool vehicle and it got more comments when I drove it than most any car I have ever owned (and we own a C7 Corvette Z06, a 1977 Porsche 911 Turbo - as well as a Hummer H2 and another Corvette). Oh, and now a new Jeep JK. Which is why I really didn't need the Pajero! And yes, I'm something of a car guy.
It drives (drove) great, tracked straight, no loose suspension, no clunks or any other strange noises. Just a really fun vehicle to drive. The second and third gear syncros in the transmission are a bit worn, but both of us drove it fine after a few miles, so it wasn't worth my time and effort to replace them. Mufflers are fairly new as are the catalytic converters. It passed smog when I bought it, but didn't have to smog it again as it was going up to Oregon.
The only thing that doesn't work (I did mention the engine thing, didn't I?) is the tachometer is dodgy - it is not working more often than it is, but I do have a new (used) replacement that goes with it. It has A/C which also WORKS fine - COLD air - and the heater works great as well!
Oh, it ALSO has a plastic SNORKEL that comes with it, but obviously not installed. It (the snorkel) is branded as a Pajero as well - pretty cool, though my wife really didn't go for that idea... It has a repair manual and other odds and ends that go with it as well.
I put a new rear left turn signal in that had been cracked. I also put the Lift Jack on the brush guard up front (wife wasn't too keen on that either). There are a number of LED lights that are on the brush guard and the roof rack, but they were NOT hooked up - my Nephew was going to, but not sure if he got around to it...
I probably will be the person to talk to if you need any further information. The title is clean and is in hand (his). My cell is 408-786-4964, my name is Matt.
Probably one of the nicest Pajero's in the US. Not perfect, but it's a 1989 after all.

NO RESERVE, starting at $.99! It will bring what it brings!
