Description of 1958 Nash Nash-Healey

This Met was stored in a barn in Kansas for over 40 years and has been kept inside and not driven in bad weather since I’ve had it. It has a minimum amount of rust. The passenger panel below the door has a ¼ “ rust hole, Two small dents – one on the passenger side and one on the top (see photos).

The sale includes a tow bar that attaches to the plates on the car, many parts from the engine removal including fuel tank, radiator, and original interior trim pieces that are usable for patterns. Also included are the rear seating pad and the backrest with original lock and key that also locks the glove box. Front seat has been recovered over the original upholstery. All glass is intact with no cracks however it is old and has edge discoloration. The conversion was done with new parts from a kit that was originally sold for VW conversions. I used the transmission but removed the clutch assembly. No clutch is needed because the only gears used are reverse and either 2nd or high. High works the best.

Transfer details: I am over 70 and not in the greatest health so nit WILL BE SOLD to the highest bidder. The new owner will be sent the clear title, keys to the storage space, access code to the storage facility, and directions to the location via Fedex upon receipt of a cashers check for the sale. Access to see the Met can’t be done.

Once the new batteries are installed, and front passenger tire inflated, the Met will be completely mobile.
