Description of 1990 Nissan 300ZX

1990-300ZX 2+2 5 spd, 172k, - tops, loth interior, earlescent paint (original) & electronic package. Carefully driven and maintained by 67 yr-old, on-smoker, riginal owner who can no longer easily enter and exit car. The car is unmolested, as not been "beat on". This car has been very well maintained. Zymol products used to wash and wax. If you don’t know what that means – the wax alone costs roughly $50 per jar. Most other cars out there are in their second or third owner who will not have spent the money to rebuild the brake calipers three times, ought a car cover even though the car spent much of its life inside the garage, nd spent roughly $4,000 six years ago to do the timing belt, uel injectors, tc to bring it up to top shape. Minimal alterations – Greddy aftermarket exhaust (too noisy for my taste) and Eibach “progressive” springs (original springs still available), raided brake lines (great, olid pedal feel) Timing belt done at 55k and 136k. Relatively new exhaust, uel injectors, ater pump, adiator. Rebuilt brakes & relatively new tires. Second stock clutch at roughly 135k by local Z specialty shop. No snow and almost no rain for most of its life until recently. Antique car is now taking up garage space. Paint still great. Interior clean. Suspension and drive line tight. Very few door dings, ock chips, tc. Original wheels have no “curb rash”. High performance summer tires. Garage kept for a good part of its life. Note very worn spot on driver’s seat outside bolster. Original dealer’s sales brochure and Nissan workshop manual included. Phone number of mechanic who did much of the recent work on request. He will attest to my attitude toward properly maintaining cars and my obsessive handling of proper repairs/maintenance. 2 inch thick folder of receipts does not include all items repaired/maintained. Many other cars are in their second or third young owner who did not properly maintain the car, nd generally have some story associated with them that will ultimately cost several thousand to repair. The car is fairly priced appropriate with condition of car.

Here are the bad parts. Rust now occurring in rear wheel wells – see pictures. Driver’s seat has significant wear and hole in outside bolster. – see pictures Small, ut significant dent in top of right front fender – see pictures. Lower part of front airdam inside is dislocated. After-market radio died when battery went dead this winter. Leaking steering rack – not heavy, ust a few drops on the driveway. Heater core developed small leak last year, nd the local radiator shop suggested sealing with Bar’s Leak rather than replacing core. That was done, nd it seems to be holding. Car was caught in hail storm about 2 years ago. Small dents in aluminum hood do not show in pictures. Call for more details (847) 550-8915 (days)
