Description of 1988 Nissan 200SX |
Fun to drive. Would be a great project car for a drifter. Or drive it as-is for a unique, ffordable ride. I bought this car almost 6 years ago to be my daughter's first car. Purchased from "a little old lady" in TX. Family took away her car after a couple of parking lot accidents dented both front fenders. Less than 40K miles when I purchased the car. I gave it a tune-up, pgraded the stereo system, ut in new shocks/struts, eplaced the fenders, ad it painted and the windows tinted. During the roughly 24,000 miles my daughter drove it, replaced the water pump, lternator, nd switch that controls the flip-up headlights (and probably a couple other things I don't remember). My daughter bought a newer car about 18 months ago, nd I had been tinkering with lingering repairs, lanning to keep the car for myself.During the last 2,000 miles I have replaced the exhaust (everything beyond the catalytic converter), rakes (pads, otors and calipers on all 4 wheels), attery, 2 sensor, uel filter, nd some rotted vacuum lines (I can't guarantee you won't another one that needs replaced, ut I replaced all the bad ones I could find). I have some other assorted new parts that haven't been installed (like fuel injectors) that I will include with the car. When I started getting a leak that collects water in the rear, nd I couldn't find the source, stopped updating other things. In addition to including the assorted new parts, will include a Nissan service manual (complete with greasy finger prints) and a front bra that was never installed on the car. The heat and A/C both work, ut they take a little while. If you don't expect new car performance, t shouldn't be any surprise. I don't want the buyer to have any surprises. In addition to the leak, he other problems with the car:
I hate to sell the car, ut I have a "new" project car to play with and there isn't room in the driveway for everything. I think I've priced it fairly, ut I need to sell it soon so I will consider offers. Contact me with any questions. $250 PayPal within 48 hours. Must pickup/arrange transport and pay in full within 7 days. |
