Description of 1990 Nissan 240SX SE

Selling my 1990 Nissan 240SX. I am the original owner and purchased this vehicle new in March, 1990. Car has 212K miles on it and mechanically this car is in excellent condition. The oil was changed every 3000 miles and the engine and drive train are excellent. Engine runs great and uses no oil between changes. Clutch changed about 50K ago. Interior is also in excellent condition with some exceptions..wear to the driver seats as shown in pics and wear to carpet in one spot on driver side that was not covered by factory floor mats which I still have(see pics). Back seats were virtually unused and look new in my estimation. Headliner looks new. Trunk area carpet also excellent and has original security cover. Dash is like new and was covered much of its life....also used Armor All regularly. Also have the original owners manual and maintenance manual (see picture). All gauges work. Transmission is also excellent and shifts smoothly. This car also has many new parts: front brakes, rotors, new starter, fairly new catalytic converter, new muffler, distributor cap, rotor, plugs and plug wires, good tires/wheels,etc. A/C does not hold a charge but will operate if you add refrigerant. Heater works great...even in coldest weather. As stated, drive train and interior are excellent....what's not.....rust has done significant damage to the frame rails and resulted in an unsafe condition as far as drive ability (see picture....I can supply additional pictures if requested)....I do still drive it and it does track straight but front clunks when applying brakes(causes movement in left front wheel). That is significant and would mean the car would need to be towed as the safety of the vehicle has been compromised by the rust....very sad as this is the most reliable car I have ever owned and has been very fun to drive all these years. Drove it to the gym a few days ago and a passer by stopped and told me "It was the most unmolested 240 he had ever seen"....I think that best describes it. So, it is a meticulously maintained (mechanical and interior) 240SX I believe......so, if you have a solid 240SX body (or are a very talented welder) that needs drive train and interior...this may be the vehicle you are looking for. Vehicle can be viewed; I live 45 minutes directly east of Philly in NJ. And I will take a prospective buyer/winning bidder for a ride(w/me driving)if requested. Have title of course. Message me with questions. Good luck bidding.
