Description of 1987 Nissan Stanza XE

NO RESERVE!!

You're looking at a VERY well kept and excellent driving Nissan Stanza XE Hatchback. This cute little hatch has been well maintained and lightly driven throughout its life in Oregon. I'll my best to represent everything about it, but if you have any questions or need additional photos or videos, don't hesitate to call or text: 512.653.0773

Mechanical

Mechanically, the Stanza is rock solid and is a very reliable driver. It is driven daily, albeit not very far as I now take the bus to and from work. The engine starts instantly no matter what the temperature, gear shifts are as crisp as they were when the car was new, and the clutch has solid, smooth engagement while remaining easy to operate. Steering is easy, tight, and noise free, and the car tracks straight down the road when accelerating, cruising, and braking.

Recent maintenance items completed in the last 600 miles:

  • Rear suspension struts (KYB);
  • 4 wheel alignment;
  • New rear muffler and tail pipe (Muffin Muffler);
  • Spark plugs (all eight -- two per cylinder);
  • Air filter;
  • Fuel filter;
  • Oil + filter change;
  • Wipers (all three);
  • Exterior

    The paint is in excellent shape and shows incredibly well even though it's 100% original. Sure, there are little imperfections that come along with it having been driven for 32 years (two small door dings that are barely visible, some rock pits on the very front of the hood, a small puncture in the rear bumper, etc.), but no rust anywhere! The body is incredibly straight with no wavy lines or poor fitment of doors, hood, or the hatch.

    Interior

    The interior is about as perfect as you will find for a vehicle that doesn't just sit in a showroom all the time. Everything works (gauges, climate control, lighting, wipers, horn, etc.), the seats are supportive and comfortable with no sagging foam, rips, or even stress marks, and the carpet is in excellent shape. The original radio works well, but the display doesn't work when it's cold outside.

    Clean blue Texas title in my name.
