Description of 1984 Nissan Other

1984 Nissan 720 2wdKa24E Swap (swapped 3 years ago. full rebuild 2 years ago) -1990 240SX engine -Engine lowered on install to make room for a bodydrop in the future -Sectioned the oil pan an inch on the small sump to make sure it was nowhere close to the ground when layed out -Electric fan with adjustable fan temp switch -I ran the wires to weld a bung in by the thermosat to use a "factory" style thread in fan switch. just planning ahead for cleanliness -Wiring "conversion" done with the Canam box from seattle. I added an auxillary fuse panel behind the glove box and put the brain/canam box under the passenger seat -GM 1 wire 140 amp alternator -Engine harness modified so all wires run down the fuel injectors or down by the alternator to clean up engine bayAirbagged about 5 years ago -Slam RE-6 Airbags all corners -8 SMC valves -2 ViAir compressors -wired with 4 gauge wire to the back. and then split where each compressor has its own 100% duty cycle solenoid -3 viair guages. a dual needle for front (L&R). a dual needle for rear (L&R) and a tank gauge -5 gallon tank -all line is 1/2" DOT approved line (air gauge line is 1/4" DOT) -all fittings are brass with brass ring push to locks. no plastic or nylon -2link with a panhard par in the rear -Bell-Tech Drop Spindles -Strut Rods eliminated. control arm turned into an A ArmMisc -I rebuilt the front light harness to run behind the inner fender and under the radiator. plus all engine wiring was redone to run under the injectors. very clean underhood wiring -17" GMC wheels with almost new tires -includes 2 chev 4x4 steel wheels with studded tires -all crossmember that hung lower than the frame were rebuilt even with the bottom of the frame (less of a body drop needed to lay rocker) -I began the work needed to rotate the clutch under the dash (baided stanless line and fittings to run it are included) -I just resurfaced the flywheel and put a clutch in it about 6 months ago -Factory gas tank sectioned so that it no longer hangs below the frame and remains in the stock location. -Polyester primer tinted green. black and red pinstiping. -Datsun Tailgate -It gets approx 35 MPG on the freeway and 25 mpg around town(corrected for tire size)This truck is built to be. and was for many years. a daily driver. I would hop in this little truck and drive across the country tommorow without thinking about it. Every bit of this truck is time tested and proven. The suspension has about 40. 00 miles on it. the engine swap is a bit less than that. The Bad. there was a reaction with the primer and something underneath the original paint on the roof. I stripped the rest of the truck to bare metal. but that flaw is there. I had the truckpinstriped to help hide it. Also. the bed is single wall. and I still used the truck as a truck. so when a few things slid. they dented the bedsides out. cracking the primer inspots. the rear bed corners also have some rust to them. but not all the way through. The truck is located in Mulino. OR. I work in Lake Oswego. OR and I will gladly meet anyone if possible to allow for a test drive!if you have ANY questions. please contact me! I will gladly take more pictures of any details you want. just ask!
