Description of 1968 Oldsmobile 442

Stunning 1968 Oldsmobile 442 Convertible in rare original Silver Green factory color on black. 400 CI, 25 HP 6.6L automatic. All numbers matching. Car was purchased in 1968 (have bill of sale) from Hoffman Oldsmobile in East Hartford CT off the showroom floor and is exactly as purchased with factory hubcaps and redline tires. My wife drove the car through high school and college. Car was sold as part of my father in law's estate to a local policeman who owned the car approximately one year. He won Best in Show at the 1980 Frank Marotta Auto Show at the Hartford Civic Center with the car slightlymodifiedwith American Racing mags, versize tires and air shocks (as was typical of the street racing world at the time). I repurchased car from him and restored it to stock, ll original condition. Car has won numerous Best in Class awards, ncluding the Oldsmobile Club of America New England Regionals. In amazing original condition. Only modification is headers (car runs better) but has original equipment muffler system and correct exhaust horns.New correct radiator and battery, prings, uns strong and solid. Very tight. Great cruiser. Health forces sale. Pleased to answer any question. Cash or cashiers check only. Can assist with shipping.
