Description of 1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass

1972 Cutlass Supreme. This is a clean well cared for and well optioned car that has spent most of its life stored inside. Nice dry body with minimal rust repair-small areas on the lower quarters behind the rear tires and lower fenders has had new metal welded in. The metal on this car is in outstanding condition.

The car has a functional 442 style ram air hood. The body has been smoothed of most emblems and the door handles are shaved and open with keyless entry. The body is straight with nice looking older paint. It has a couple of chips and small flaws but it shows very well and looks sharp.

The main thing that makes this car unique and sets it apart from other cars out there, ther than its aggressive look, s the engine. It really gives this car its attitude and character. It is a built 455 ci rocket with edelbrock aluminum heads, ull roller rockers, humper cam, iming gears, EI, nd coated headers. It has very low miles and runs like it should. It is crisp, lean and tight. It makes real power but is great on the street as it has no trouble running on pump gas and never overheats. This engine will put a smile on your face every time you click the key.

Other upgrades and options to the car include- TH400 Trans with shift kit, ebuilt with engine – low miles. 10 bolt limited slip rear. Aluminum radiator with duel electric fans. It also has electric fuel pump. Power Disk Brakes, ower Steering, C, ilt, nd Console with shifter, ucket seats and Power Windows. 70’s era style wheels and Thrush side pipes.

The nice original interior helps to tell the life of the car. It has been well kept. The headliner is showing its age, he carpet is faded where it wasn’t covered by the floor mats but not ripped. The back seat is still perfect. The console is in excellent condition as are the door panels. They show age on the lower panel carpet but are complete with no rips. The gauges are still clear. The original radio and steering wheel is still intact.

I have had it to a few car shows the last couple of years, t is not a “show” car but does fit in and it get a lot of thumbs up. I also drove it in a rod run with my grandkids this year. It is a fun car to drive. It rides well and is like stepping back in time when you are in the car. The sad part is it sits most of the time in storage or in my driveway and it really need some miles put on it.

This car does need some minor items such as- the front seats are splitting at the seams and they need recovered. It needs some trim/detail items, ittle things that make the car affordable, nd a good deal. A lot of time, ove and money have gone into this car. You are not only buying a nice 70’s style custom hot rod, ou are also buying a real muscle car engine. I do not need to sell the car, o I have no interest in giving the car away. The reserve is set low and is the lowest amount that I will let the car go for, o if you bid please be ready to buy the car.

I would like the new owner to see the car before buying it and pay at that time, ut if that is not possible I will work with the buyer on payment and shipping/ picking up the car, ut please NO PAYPAL!

For details or if you have any questions feel free to email.

Thanks.
