What caught my eye was the solid body on this car. The exterior of this cutlass is in solid original condition the paint looks to be original with no signs of paint work yes its faded with blemishes and wear but a very solid body! The only rust my eyes can see is in the trunk lid (pictured) I have also pictures well the rocker panels. doors and inside wheel wells where they are commonly known to rust away and this one is clean! This is the perfect candidate for a light resto. Please take a look at the pictures below allow time to load. The interior is in very good shape for its age with normal wear overall the car looks decent the carpet was detailed and looks good…. the center console is broken (pictured) headliner has some sag but complete. 307 v8 that fires up quick and sounds and pull great! Car is quick and clearly shows it was well maintained. no smoke at start up and cruises down the highway 50-60 mph smoothly…. the belt is a little squeaky at times. The car shows 81k miles and that is the way it was sold to me and the way I will sell it. Automatic transmission shifts smoothly. Factory a/c and great heat. Decent tires. Solid trunk with original carpeting. Clean title. I have posted a picture of the nj state issued title it has a 15 digit re vin from the state of nj I don’t know the story on why it has a re-vin nor am I going to make a story there can be many reason why a re-vin has been placed but the vehicle has a nj title and was registered and insure I don’t see why there will be any issue registering but I strongly suggest you ask your local dmv as for all nj buyers there won’t be any issues in the state of nj. I have driven the car around town and it runs and drives and stops I have put about 30 miles on it and feel there won’t be any issues driving it home but please keep in mind it’s a 30 year old vehicle that will need love and attention but it’s the perfect candidate to restore as many of these cutlass are all rusted away.
