Greetings to All!! After 23 years in business(44 years if you count when I started), I have decided to Retire!! International Motorcars of Pittsburgh LTD. will close its doors on May 31, 2016(I might be a few weeks late!), after being located in Export, Pa 15632 since June of 2005. It's been a GREAT home, and I feel quite privileged to have been a part of this fabulous community!! Well...... May came and went, and I am still in the car biz, albeit VERY small! We are going to call this "Semi-retired(or Semi- Retarded?)!! Must be some sort of incurable disease! The Export location is cleaned out, and closed. The building is empty, and is available for lease. Interested parties can E-mail me for info and details. I've re-located to a long time friend/colleague's previous location in late June. He Sadly and unexpectedly passed away in November of 2014, and his wife was kind enough to make it available. This is a VERY small facility, so my activity is limited. The dealer license has been transferred, and I am ready to start offering those unusual finds that you all loved to see over the past 20 years. The photographs were taken at a close friends farm. I hope that you like them! Many Many Thanks to all of my previous customers. Please keep us on your Favorites list...you just NEVER know what will show up!! Inspections during the auction are welcomed and Encouraged Greetings to All!! imotors is quite pleased to offer possibly the nicest 1968 Oldsmobile 98 Holiday Coupe available anywhere!! This is an original West Coast car that is rust free. I believe that it is totally original, with one repaint in the color that it was born with. Oldsmobile lovers everywhere get weak in the knees when one like this becomes available. A Nice, rust free car with loads of options, that was apparently treated like one of the family! Examples like this one are unheard of! As I purchased this one at an auction, from another dealer, I don't have much history. The original owners book, and warranty booklet with the Protect-O-Plate still affixed, and are in the glove box. It was sold new in February of 1968 in Inglewood California. Our Beautiful 98 Holiday Coupe is basically an original and unrestored car. It has been painted at some time in it's life, and shows extremely well. Being a west coast car, it is totally free of the rust demon. We have underneath pics if you like. The chrome is bright and shiny with no pitting! It runs and drives like a dream, and just floats down the highway on 4 new 15" whitewall radial tires. It also stops quite nicely with power disc brakes that we just serviced, to include new wheel cylinders and hoses, along with new disc pads up front. The exhaust is recent as well, and is quiet. We had our expert interior shop, Weimann's Interiors, reupholster the entire front seat, and the rear cushion with correct, and original materials. The carpets are also new, and are of the correct design. All power equipment works well, including windows, seats and locks. The radio works some of the time, more if you play with the AM and FM buttons. I will try some tuner cleaner. The heater core has been bypassed, and the temp lever inside the car is stiff. The fuel gauge is not working. The A/C has been charged, and is blowing cold, and out of the vents. Also, the power antenna is inop, however, you can raise and lower it by hand. This is a VERY nice car that has just been fully mechanically sorted, and is ready to be enjoyed by the next lucky owner. I have done all of the heavy lifting, and fixed all of the major issues, to bring it to this level. A few minor fixes, and it will be as perfect as an original 50 year old car can be. I have driven it extensively(About 400 miles), and will continue to do so, to be sure the bugs are worked out. So far, it has been 100% reliable. Take a look at the 60 photographs below and see the actual pristine condition of this One of A Kind Oldsmobile 98. By bidding you agree to all terms set forth below.
