1966 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Coupe Covertible 2 Door California Car

Up for sale is this very nice, running, stock California family owned blue Oldsmobile Delta 88 convertible. The car is being sold by the son of the original owner who bought the car brand new from the dealer in 1966.This is a numbers matching Super Rocket 425 engine and automatic transmission car, with low, original mileage only 73,000. The car drives and stops well.

EXTERIOR CONDITION:

The exterior is all original and the car was repainted once in the 1980's with same original paint color. Paint is not perfect and does have some minor scratches. This car has been garaged all its life and is in not a rust bucket. No major rust issues, the floor is solid. There are however, very small bubbling spots (See photos). The car does have a small ding on driver’s side front panel (See photos). This car has never been involved in any collisions. It is missing one wheel well trim piece the other trim pieces are not visible in photos because they were removed but are in great condition. Most of the chrome is in good condition other than the front bumper. The tires have good tread life left however they are aged. The car comes with all 4 original hubcaps. The convertible top has no tears or holes. The top no longer retracts fully, possibly convertible motor stuck/bad. Confirmed power is going to motor so not a fuse issue.

INTERIOR CONDITION:

The interior is also in stock condition with seat tear issues (See photos). The carpet is used condition with some spots and small tears. The dashboard has some cracking on the passenger side. All gauges are there including original radio. There is some slight pitting and scratches to the chrome trim on the dashboard gauges as well.

TITLE/REGISTRATION:

The car is currently registered in California as non-operational. Owner has title in hand. This car was originally bought in California and has never left the state. Serious buyers please come out and test drive and inspect this car. Car is SOLD AS IS WITH NO WARRANTY. Convertibles are continually appreciating in value and this would be a great investment opportunity.
