Extremely rare 1955 Oldsmobile 98 Starfire Convertible up for sale. Includes a 1955 Oldsmobile 88 2 door holiday hardtop parts car.The Oldsmobile 98 Starfire was the top of the line in her day. Power windows and power top. Original Seat frames are inside along with door panels.This restoration project will require a second car that's why the parts car is included.The Starfire has a mostly solid body with some dents.The parts car is in good condition (a California car still in California) and can be dismantled to complete the Starfire Convertible.The Dash from the parts car is in very good shape and can be used on the Convertible.The parts car has a nice front clip that fits on the Starfire, bumpers, hood, fenders inner fenders, trim etc..The floor boards are in good shape on the parts car and can be used to repair the convertible. A nice rear end is in the parts car.The quarters may also be cut and graphed onto the convertible somewhat, since the 98 is about 6 inches longer in the rear.Also the trunk on the parts car along with some Windows and window frames can be swapped.A 324cc V8 engine comes with the project. Not sure if the motor needs to be rebuild but it's in good shape and can be rebuilt if needed.All that's needed is a transmission and some hard work.A clear Arizona title comes with the 1955 Oldsmobile Starfire 98. A bill of sale comes with the Oldsmobile 88 hardtop that is just a parts car.This is a pick up only and you will have to make arrangements to get the cars here in Southern California.No refunds or returns or warranties implied.
