Description of 1968 Oldsmobile 442 Delux

This is an Absolute SURVIVOR 442! I purchase this beauty from my neighbor approximately 20 years ago. He was the Original Owner. This Car is a Rare Original Canadian Car. It was Purchased from GSL Chev City in Calgary Alberta Canada. It is an original stripe-delete car. PROTECTO PLATE AND ORIGINAL MANUAL come with the car.
Immediately after its purchase, the 442 was taken to a summer home in Santa Barbara California where it lived out its life. It was returned to Canada 20 years ago when the owner decided to sell his home. I purchased it and put approximately 4000 miles on it prior to placing it in storage with my other vehicle collection.
This car is only being sold because I am tired of paying $5000 a year for storing my vehicles! I have to sell several. It is a great car and would be excellent for any 442 expert to own.
Included with the sale will be a set of 4 "Mag Star Wheels" that are used and need restoration. I am just throwing them in in case you can use them.
This car has great options:
*Cruise Control*Shoulder Seat Belts*Air Conditioning*Power Steering*Power Front Disc Brakes*Tic Toc Tach*Power Windows*Power Bench Seat*Posi Rear End*front and Rear Sway Bars*Tinted Window Glass (AC Only)*Stripe Delete*Vinyle top*442 Package
The car is in Survivor Condition. What I mean by this is that the car is relatively untouched from new. It has had some paint touch-up but that is it! The Engine, to my knowledge, has never been cracked open. It starts, runs, and drives beautifully. Please note that this is a Survivor not a trailer queen. You can drive it as it is or use it as a great starting point for minor restoration. The car does have only minor flaws. To my knowledge it has never been hit. It shows no signs of structural damage or damage from any accidents. All panels are absolutely original. Everything looks to be original!
The car is Located in Calgary but I am happy to trailer it in my enclosed car hauler to the Coutts Border Crossing at Sweetgrass Montana. It can be easily picked up or shipped from there.
