Description of 1968 Oldsmobile 442

Up for sale is my 1968 Oldsmobile 442. It came factory w/ a 400 V8. now it has a 455 V8. Also has a 400 turbo transmission. Rebuilt pretty much stock. Brand new carburetor. Has A/C that works - just needs some Freon. Heater works. The original radio is missing but the dash is untouched. Dash pad is in excellent condition. as well as the rest of the interior - near flawless. All gauges work. including the clock inside of the tachometer. All interior lights work. It has brand new dual exhaust w/flow masters. All new brakes. The frame. floor pans and trunk floor are totally rust free. NONE even starting. See pics. The car needs to be repainted. Body is solid except for 2 spots - one spot is left bottom of front fender. the other spot is behind the left rear wheel (a small hole). This car is NOT all bondo'd up. The rest of the body is all original panels and solid (rust free). There is some surface rust on the body where paint has peeled off. Has a couple small dings/dents. Nothing serious. Not trying to make car sound bad. just trying to be honest. The car runs & drives down the road like a dream. All new brakes. Has power drum brakes w/power steering. All the mechanical work has already been done to the car. I was going to get it painted but I have too many other projects right now and I need the space. The wheels are really unique. I paid good to have them custom made. I had the front ones narrowed and the rear made wider. I wanted to keep the original Oldsmobile look. If you painted it - you'd have yourself a very nice car.
