Description of 1979 Oldsmobile Cutlass W30

Just in time for Christmas!!! 1979 Oldsmobile Cutlass Calais W30 Hurst edition. This really is a beautiful car. 80-90% original. This is a true W30 Hurst Olds complete with dual gate his and hers shifter. This vehicle still has it original engine that was rebuilt professionally 12,000 miles ago. Only 2 owners have enjoyed this special automobile and it has only traveled 62196 in it's lifetime. It has had some paint work and there are some cracks in the paint as pictured, but in general it shows very nicely. The paint shines nicely and the flaws are visible from 6-12 inches away but not any further than that. The interior is in excellent condition with some cracks in the dash as is common to any 70's GM vehicle, and the driver seat is split as pictured. The cars runs excellent and drives very well with the power you would expect from this car. This is a completely RUST FREE car, I can even find any surface rust. It has always been garage kept and the two owners were in Texas and Arkansas so it has been a southern car it's whole life. It has the original Audiovox AM/FM Cassette that works well. The heater core is brand new and the heat works well. The air conditioning is not currently working as it is out of refrigerant and I don't want to convert it to R134a if the potential new owner would like to stay with the R12. All the components of the A/C are there and the compressor spins freely and the compressor clutch engages when energized. The widows operate but are a little slow. The power driver seat works well as do all the interior and exterior lights, and all the accessories except the air conditioning. The original wheels are in great condition and the tires have around 60% of the tread remaining. The underside of the car still has most of the original undercoating and the frame and floorboards are ROCK SOLID. This car is in amazing condition for what it is. There has been some paint work but it is well done. Aside from the cracks and a few blemishes it shows excellent. I am offering this vehicle at a VERY low price for what it is because there are a few little things that need to be done, if I spent the time and money to make it perfect I will be asking a perfect condition price. As it is this vehicle is a spectacular value at this price. In 1979 2,499 Hurst Oldsmobiles were made, of those only 1,165 were white and gold. You will not find a better example anywhere near this price. We are completely honest about our vehicles so if you have any questions at all please do not hesitate to ask. We are a Licensed and Bonded used vehicle dealer in Arkansas so bid with confidence. Shipping is the sole responsibility of the buyer. I would feel confident to drive this car anywhere. This vehicle is listed for sale elsewhere so I reserve the right to end auction at any time without notice. Once reserve is met I will not end early for any reason. I will accept full payment through PayPal IF buyer pays the PayPal fee of 3%.
