Description of 1976 Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight Regency - BEAUTIFUL!!!

I am pleased to offer this 1976 Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight Regency Coupefor sale, the bicentennial addition. Presented in original Firethorn Red Metallic with White Leather interior and with just 25,919 original miles, this rare all original Ninety-Eight was built as the flagship model of Oldsmobile. I bought the car 13 years ago and it has been garage kept the whole time. I have the paperwork from the sale when I bought the car, an Oldsmobile chassis shop manual for the car, and the original owner’s manual. This car is a beautiful piece of history in which all features function as they should. These features include air conditioning, AM/FM/8 track, cruise control, power brakes, power steering, power locks, power windows, power seats, and power mirrors. Last year we drove the car from Houston TX to Lafayette LA (round trip 500 miles) and the ride and drivability of the car is amazing. The air conditioning has been converted to R-134 and blows cold and brand new tires have been installed. This 42-year-old car does have a few blemishes. It needs a brake booster replaced, the driver’s side door arm rest has 2 small tears, the passenger side under the vinyl top has 2 small rust spots (the only rust on the car), and recently I brought the car to see about getting the rust spots fixed and someone left a rag with paint thinner on the trunk and the paint is discolored. (see photos on these defects). The car is all original and the paint shop offered to fix the trunk, but I will let whoever buys it make the decision if they want them to fix it, or take as is. I didn't know how if that would hurt the car being all original if I had him fix it. As you can see in the photos, this is a beautiful car both inside and out, and boy does it get the looks when taking a ride! Enjoy bidding and I have a low reserve compared to some of the ones I have seen sale on here. If you would like certain pictures or any questions, please let me know. Buyer is responsible for shipping or picking up. Happy Bidding!
