Description of 1982 Oldsmobile Toronado Brougham

1982 Oldsmobile Toronado Brougham One Owner, All Original. The car has been in storage for over 25 years. The car is all original, paint is original and in great shape as seen in the photos. The interior is gray with no rips or tears. The head liner is sagging of course like any good 80's general motors car, it does not take away from the beauty of the interior. The body is very straight and the vinyl roof is in great shape no tears or dry rotting. The car is a great show car, have had it out at some car shows with lots of looks and some trophy's it is always hard to compete against a Buick Grand National of course. But always fun to hear my parents or grand parents had one. The younger crowed always ask what that thing is on the dash. I tell them its a CB their like no you mean CD. I'm like no CB radio kind of like a old cell phone.That's how people use to talk, they just look and say what!!!!! The car is in great shape for it's age. It is a fun smooth car to drive especially on road trips, very comfy and quite. The A/C blows cold, power antenna needs to be pulled up manually, I did not want to change it as it is original. The car has it's original Oldsmobile hub caps, yes not spokes, that is how it came from the factory I was told.
If your in the market for a all original one owner car ready for cruising and shows. This would be one to take a look at. The car drives at is should no noises and stops. The transmission shifts through all the gears and is smooth. The engine is strong, step on the gas and it down shifts and revs with plenty of power for a luxury car. I have the original dealer bill of sale and some other paper work. I also have the old Rusty Jones contract for the body protection or rust proofing. I forgot about Rusty Jones I do remember Ziebart though. So please feel free to come by and take it for a test drive. You will not be disappointed. I would not hesitate to take this car across the country. It drives very well with no problems. Yes, I understand it is a used 37 year old car but it would be truly hard to find one in this condition.
You ask why am I selling it? Well I would like to keep it I bought it as part of a collection and now in need of some room. I have another car that I have recently purchased and can no longer keep the Toronado. Yes the wife is like it is time to thin out the garage since you purchased another car. My Father always told me Happy Wife, Happy Life...... So I will have to part with the Toronado, so hopefully it will make someone happy and it will provide many years of service and build memories for it's new owner. I guess I have to put the fun stuff in, yes the car is a 1982 and no longer has it's warranty. So the car is sold as is and as shown. It is up to the bidder to satisfy themselves of the condition of the vehicle before placing a bid or purchasing the vehicle.
